Appendix “A” Move Criteria     1-800-NAT-HIRE (1-800-628-4473)

• For production moves, your longest unbroken seniority date is used for job offers.
• For skilled trade’s moves, your longest unbroken trade date in that classification is used for job offers.
• An active employee can receive up to 3 offers in each year of the National Agreement.
• If you are laid off and refuse an area hire job offer, you will be put on leave of absence without corporate paid benefits.
• Under the current UAW/GM National Agreement, you can receive up to $30,000 for a move outside the area hire.
